The firm

We work with CEOs, boards and leadership teams to clarify priorities, strengthen positioning, navigate sensitive issues, engage the people who matter and translate strategy into action.

We don’t begin with a fixed list of services. An engagement might mean building a strategic communications or public-affairs program, repositioning an organization or its leadership, navigating a sensitive issue, launching an initiative, strengthening stakeholder relationships, building visibility or bringing clarity to a complex challenge.

And sometimes the most valuable role we play is helping leadership determine what should happen next.

Senior counsel. The right expertise. No unnecessary layers.

Founded on experience

A senior advisor to CEOs, boards and leadership teams.

Jennifer Bulotti is a senior strategic advisor, entrepreneur and board leader with more than 30 years of experience helping organizations and executive teams navigate growth, change, reputation, public affairs, organizational strategy and complex stakeholder environments.

As CEO & Founder of Sandalwood, she brings an enterprise-level perspective to organizational positioning, reputation and risk, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications and major organizational initiatives. Her career spans private industry, government, education, hospitality, technology, real estate, healthcare, associations and nonprofit organizations—from entrepreneurial ventures and community-based nonprofits to public agencies, associations and Fortune 500 companies.

Jennifer brings to board service a combination of entrepreneurial leadership, strategic judgment, governance experience, reputation and risk expertise, public affairs, stakeholder engagement and social-impact leadership. Her experience includes working alongside executives and boards during periods of growth, transformation, leadership transition, public scrutiny and organizational change.

Earlier in her career, Jennifer founded Modamedia Communications, an integrated communications firm serving corporate, government and nonprofit clients. Building and leading the firm gave her firsthand experience with entrepreneurship, business development, team leadership, client service, financial accountability and the practical realities of growing an organization.

She remains directly involved in the firm’s strategy and client work, while Sandalwood’s collaborative model allows the firm to bring additional communications, creative and specialized expertise to engagements as needed.
